Here’s block number 4 : Canary Yellow…

I have a few other blocks made, but no pictures yet. I’m on block number 7 right now, and I ran out of White thread… to the fabric store today it is !!!

I’m feeling pretty good here…I have 3 completed blocks, and one partially completed Pomegranate block.

I really need to catch up now that everyone else has finished theirs

I think my next one will be Plum… it seems to be the most difficult. I’m jumping in.

Here’s my stash so far:

I’m expecting two large scrap boxes in the mail … eeeeeeepp… I’m so excited! I’m almost finished making the block frames (only 2 or 3 more to go) but I’ve been through my little box of scraps a million times, there just aren’t enough. When those boxes get here I can’t wait to dig in! I know, I know, I’m so far behind everyone else I’m sure. I have been working on a few other things though, i can’t seem to commit to only one project at a time. Here’s a sneak peak of my weekend project.

Tonight’s menu is two Midol and some very serious scrap searching for my rainbow blocks. I don’t think I’ll have quite enough of the purples and oranges… so i may have to go scrap bag shopping

Oh and I’m not sure if anyone saw my post last week about ordering the fat quarter pack of Tea Garden fabrics, but the finally arrived… and it REALLY was a fat quarter pack!!!!!  It’ s the best fabric deal I’ve caught in a long time !

I’m so excited!  Some of my projects were selected to be featured on the inspiration portion of the software!  I’m freaking out.   Please check out the press release HERE!

Some of the features include:  22 projects with instruction, 9 bonus projects, patterns can be sewn as is with instruction or customized in the software for THOUSANDS of variations.  There will also include a web forum on Electric Quilt Company’s site for the software.

I guess this feature is an etsy find…although i found it months ago   This is a fabric shop owned by Karen Gray @ Karen Gray Design. This is my first (and most of the time only) stop for fabric. Since i have an unhealthy obsession with fabric shopping, i’ve spent countless hours in her shop trying to pick out just the right fabrics for my projects.  I can not say enough good things about her,  she’s a delight to buy from ! Such great customer service and because i live in Canada, it can sometimes be a pain to shop for fabric in the U.S.  Not here my friends!
