I gotta say, I have been across to the other side of this country and back, and nobody, I REPEAT NOBODY, parties like they do in Newfoundland. What an amazing group of people and dedicated scene they have there. COming from Halifax, a city I do truely love, this place has 2 solid afterhours joints (SPIN and LIQUID) that are stocked with some great DJs and full of an amazing crowd of people as well as a whole slew of other bars that are super fun. My first show in St. Johns was almost 5 years ago I guess now, and everytime I have been back I meet new people, make new friends, have an amazing time and am reminded not only of the beautiful landscape but the beautiful people. This post is dedicated to all those that help me get up there to perform and support the guys that put in the hard work over there week in and week out. Thanks goes out especially to Blair Summer and Seamus Dooley at Loft 709 and Mike Taylor at Spin for the afterhours set. Stay tuned for a video clip shortly.
