Well, its that time of the year again, CKDU is running its funding drive from Oct. 1 to Oct. 10. For those of you who don't know, CKDU (A campus and community radio station) derives almost a third of its funding for the entire year from this 10 day fundraising marathon. Bass Rebel Radio has been running since May of this year. Before that it was The Broken Science with Construct for two years, and before THAT it was Jamie and Dennis' Jungle show for another five. Through all that time we have been working hard to help shine a little spotlight on all the talented people we have in our electronic music scene. Well, its time to give back a little. Come join a host of Halifax DJs in one of the best up and coming venues in the city for a great cause. Bass Rebel Radio has a modest goal of $600 but I'm sure we can SMASH THAT GOAL!
