Originally from Boston MA, and now residing in Burlington VT, DJ Jakels (Jake Smock) was inspired to DJ through a love for music and many years spent playing the drums, piano, and bass guitar. His live sets are truly unique, blending all types of music like Moombahton, HipHop, House, Dubstep, and some Drum and Bass to close out the early mornings. Bringing along some unreleased original mashups, as well as some of the most hyphy banger tracks you’ll hear anywhere, DJ Jakels ensures the crowd is enjoying the show. It’s all about the music.

Through a twisted, three-year process of self-evolution and a penchant for bass beyond all else, Vermont homegrown dub selecta Kai Moon Poplar (AKA MoonUnit) has been pushing dubs around the East Coast, blowing up bars, house parties, and bass bins turning any event into a gut-busting skank fest. Having met rising Vermont production star Nick “The Frim” Friml, (Ventuno Recordings, Plasticage Records, Tycho Records, MalLabel Music) the two have teamed up to create a live experience like none other, featuring original dubs and only the most OG choons to grace your ears. Keep a sharp eye out for these up-and-comers.
