Viscous dubstep throwdown last night with the Generals of the Halifax Dubstep Army, Construct, myself, Buck Banger and FreedomDanish.  FreedomDanish gives us a sneak peak of his and iLL.Gates new release of “In a Boat” – and it is WILD STUFF.  We’re all celebrating the insane show thats going on this weekend what with DZ coming to visit us in lil’ ol’ Halifax.

Also, last night’s show is dedicated to our good friend Lyell Cook who suffered serious electrocution and burns while he was travelling in India.  If you are a friend or well-wisher of Lyell’s please visit the facebook group here.  Also FreedomDanish will be selling copies of his latest mix “Inochi Mantra” (which is dedicated to Lyell) for donations which will be given to his family to try and deflect the cost of prothestics that Lyell will need (yes, it was that bad).  Please help out our friend and donate whatever you can.

HAPPY 420 EVERYONE!!  I wish I was out there with you relaxing and enjoying the sunshine, but I need to work and I am way behind due to a horrible sickness last week. Now let’s get to it.

This Thursday April 23rd Bass Rebel Radio takes its first stroll in its new time slot 10:30pm-midnite ADT.  Construct is busy (see below) so I’m going to fill in for him.  DJ JUMBLE will be joining us from Sydney and you never know who else might drop by.  Phat dubstep from 10:30-midnight to get you pumped up for the main event:

Oh yes, that’s right!  iLL.Gates aka The Phat Conductor will be gracing Halifax for a whirlwind tour and I’m very pleased to say that I’ll be right in the middle of it the whole time.  Join Construct and Freedom Danish for appetizers (I’ll be there too, but just drinkin’).  Facebook event here. My good friend Justincredible and myself will be rockin out The Blue Moon at 2215 Gottigen St.  We’re startin at 10pm and going until they make us stop.  Then we might go somewhere else.  Or not.  Leavin it wide open here people!  Expect a mix of smooth and chunky house with some PHAT ASS breaks near the end.  Come in for a drink early, there’s lots going on that night!
